Program Competencies
Our MPH delivers five competencies, all of which align with those established by the public health education accrediting body ÐÓ°ÉÔ°æ” the Council for Education in Public Health (CEPH). Developing these competencies will prepare you to sit for the Certified in Public Health exam, which is offered through the National Board of Public Health Examiners (NBPHE).

Admissions Standards
The MPH Program reviews applications holistically, considering a wide range of factors including previous GPA, work experience, statement of purpose, and letters of recommendation. Most students who matriculate to the MPH Program have undergraduate GPAs of 3.0 or higher.
Admissions Criteria and Application Materials
No GRE or GMAT score is required to apply to the MPH Program.
- 3.0 undergraduate GPA or higher from an accredited institution of higher learning
- 1-2 page statement of purpose
- Two letters of recommendation (professional or academic references only)
- Current resume or CV
- Current TOEFL or other language exam score (if non-native English speaker)
